Sony to release Walkman NW-A808 in Japan

Sony has announced the release of their newest portable device called Walkman NW-A808, while the walkman name makes it look like a audio player only, that is not the case because the device can do both: be a portable media player for audio and video, and a mobile phone for calls and text messages.

It features a LCD display that measures 2-inches, and overall it is very thick measuring 8.3mm only. The directional keys and others, like power on/off, home, back, are all located on the front side of the device; while on the left side and bottom there is space for the headphone jack and power adapter.

The Sony Walkman NW-A808 will have a price tag of 32,800(JPY) which is close to $270 and there will be two distinct colors available: white or pink. The release date is set for July 10th in Japan.
