Sony has released its latest Ultra Mobile PC model, named Sony Vaio UX490N. It can be considered a high quality UMPC, but that makes it more valuable and with a price tag of $2,500.
The UX490N sports an Intel processor, more specifically an Intel Core 2 Solo U2200 ULV running at 1.2Ghz, and with 1GB of memory RAM. The screen measures 4.5-inches and is actually on the touchscreen category, the final resolution is pretty good at 1024×600 pixels.
One of the improvements when comparing to previous models, is the new kind of hard-drive also known as Solid State Drive with 48GB of capacity. There are 2 cameras located on the front and on the rear, with 0.3 megapixels and 1.3 megapixels, correspondingly.
