Sony recently announced the new PC300 Mobile Broadband PC Card, which allows you to take your mobile broadband speed with you wherever you go. The PC300 supports four generations of the world’s most popular cellular wireless technology, including HSDPA, UMTS, EDGE, and GPRS. Simply plug the PC card into your laptop, and with the integrated, unobtrusive antenna you can keep the card in your laptop at all times, allowing for a high speed connection wherever you are. Download speeds are available up to 3.6Mbps.

The card’s atntenna is just over 1cm, and is only barely noticeable when the card is in your laptop. To get started, all you have to do is slide in the card and it will automatically detect the wireless technology that is available locally.
