Watch out Nano, you may just have some serious competition! The folks over at Sony has announced their new series of MP3 Players. The Sony Walkman NW-E010 series will come in models like 1GB, 2GB and 4GB. Hence while you may not be able to upload your entire music collection on it, the players are ideal for the casual listener!

The Walkman NW-E010 Series live up to the Sony name when it comes to style and apart from slim ergonomics the player also has a wide range of colors to offer. The Players are available in colors like violet, blue, pink, gold or black.

Sony promises to satisfy the audiophile inside you and has thrown in technologies like Clear Bass and Clear Stereo for crystal clear music delivery. The 3 line color LCD display lets the user navigate their fav tunes and album jackets are displayed on the color screen. The 5 Band equalizer (Heavy/Pop/Jazz/Unique/Custom) and he built in FM Tuner (NW-E010F series only) further sweeten the deal.

The Walkman NW-E010 Series have been also equipped with an USB 2.0 connection. For direct PC transfers and will also charge when hooked to a PC. the player has a quick charge function with 3 minutes charge delivering 3 hours of music playback, with a full hour charge for up to 30 hours.

The WALKMAN NW-010 series will be available throughout Europe from May 2007 and will be available to pre order from www.sonystyle-europe.com
