|

Sony NV-U72TSony has revealed their new personal navigation devices, including the NV-U72T and NV-U52. The devices use a suction cup and cradle to be attached to a something like a dashboard, or could simply be used without the accessories to take them on the go. The new models also feature a 3.5-inch screen with Sony Gesture Commands, which allows you to simply draw a route to somewhere and the system will automatically guide you to your destination. Dynamic Routing Information is also included, which basically informs you of important locations on the map, such as gas stations, and notifications of what is ahead, which will come in handy for unfamiliar routes. The Sony NV-U52 will include 512MB of flash memory, while the Sony NV-U72T will be packed with 2GB. Additionally, you may use Memory Sticks for extra storage. You can also purchase a subscription to broadcasts of the Traffic Message Channel to alert you of things such as traffic jams. Both models will have a car battery adapter, a USB cable, an application data disc and a carry pouch in the package. A free Safety Camera indicator trial will also be included.
