Sony MRW62E S1/171 17-in-one multi card reader

Sony's newly announced USB multi card reader, MRW62SE-S1/171, is not just any other USB card reader that's available in the market. What makes it different though is the new user friendly interface and also can read as many as 17 different cards (not limited to just Sony pro-duo cards). The 17-in-1 external multi-card reader is Microsoft Windows Vista compatible and has a high-speed USB 2.0 connection.

If you are wondering on how different is the device from other conventional card readers available in the market? Well, it is the software that comes along that makes all the difference. When you plug-in the card reader, instead of the usual removable disk icons that appear in Microsoft Windows when an external storage device is connected the software displays a picture of the type of media instead. In addition, the card reader is also compatible with Windows XP, Windows 2000 and later, and MAC OS X Version 10.2 and later.

The Sony MRW62E-S1/171 will hit the store shelves from June 2007.
