Sony K550im Phone

The phone previously known as the Sony Ericsson K770i will be released under a different name, the K550im. The K550im model is a GSM Tri-band phone that features a 2 megapixel camera with auto focus, M2 memory card slot, GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, IrDA, FM radio, and a music player. Internal memory is 64MB, which can be expanded with the M2 memory slot. The phone features 176x220 pixel TFT display with 256k colors, and a small size at 102x46x14mm.

There is a good chance the phone will be officially announced during the 3GSM congress coming up this month, where a walkman version of the phone - possibly the w550i - may also be announced. The walkman version is rumored to support the 3G network and have a camera, but no auto focus. Details about these phones keep trickling out, so stay tuned for all the latest info.
