Sony Ericsson’s G702 winds up at the FCC

We were starting to wonder when this one would meet up with the FCC. Well, the wait is now over and we now have some concrete info on the G702, codenamed BeiBei previously. For a cell phone aimed mostly at womankind, the G702 is pretty packed with HSDPA support, GPS with WayFinder and Google Maps, and WiFi. The FCC documents also confirm what we already knew, the new UIQ 3.3 interface and Opera 9.5 browser with widget and Flashlite 3 support. According to the documents, pressing the 5 key will change the display from portrait to landscape. A good idea but we would have preferred an accelerometer to do this on its own.
