It’s not like we had a stable launch date for the Xperia X1 but we were expecting it to hit sometime this fall. Well guess again Xperia fans! The smartphone gets delayed. We won’t see one until late December or even January 2009. The problem seems to be the implementation of Windows Mobile 6.1.
Apparently the units displayed at IFA malfunctioned. All three of them. Sony Ericsson should better work on those flaws fast. By the time their Xperia hits the market some of their clients will already have purchased iPhones, Thunders or Dreams. One can’t wait forever!
