Sony Ericsson W880i Cell Phone FCC Approved

Remember we had reported the Sony W880i cell phone some time back? Well, the phone has just been approved by the FCC.

Usually the FCC site comes with useful documentation (including user manuals), but this time there’s not much on the W880i. Which naturally makes us wonder what’s so special about it. We already reported the basic specs, including a 1.8" QVGA display, Memory Stick Micro support and Java MIDP 2.0.

Anyway, this is a super-slim Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson, and we should be able to get our hands on it soon.

No word on the pricing yet.
