Sony Ericsson has announced awful results for the first quarter of the year. Unlike Nokia, which still managed to have a profit in Q1, Sony Ericsson netted a 358 Euros loss. Despite all that no new hot phone is coming from the company anytime soon. In fact, Sony Ericsson’s CEO, Hideki Komiyama said that they are not ready for an Android handset anytime soon. [Going Android] does require a lot of evaluation, as well as a lot of testing, a lot of acceptance from a consumer viewpoint, and there is still some time to go.

So what are those big execs at Sony Ericsson waiting for?
