Sony Ericsson Aspen first to get Windows Mobile 6.5.3By Mark Rollins - 02/02/2010 3:04:15 PM |
Sony Ericsson’s Aspen is the first official phone with Windows Mobile 6.5.3. This version isn’t Windows Mobile 7, but it has “a finger friendly layout”, support for capacitive touchscreens, and a platform for multitouch. It also has faster page load times and better memory management.
As for the Sony Ericsson Aspen itself, it is a candybar phone QWERTY, 2.4 inch QVGA TFT touchscreen LCD, 3.2 megapixel camera, Google maps with A-GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, WiFi, along with microSD expansion.
I don’t have a price for the Aspen from my source, but it should be available sometime in Q2.
