Sony Ericsson has two phones ready to enter the North American market. These are the C510a CyberShot handset which will arrive sometime this quarter while the W508a Walkman phone will arrive in Q2.

These phones are not going to amaze you but they will deliver picture or music to you, depending on what you need while you’re on the go. Let’s take a look at each phone then.

The C510a CyberShot is a candy bar phone featuring:

The W508a Walkman is a clamshell phone:

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, tri-band 3G

  • 3.2 megapixel camera and front-facing video calling
  • Video playback (YouTube/streaming viedeo enabled)
  • Walkman player w/ Mega Bass, PlayNow, TrackID, SensMe, and Shake Control
  • Bluetooth 2.0 w/ A2DP
  • 100MB internal memory
  • Memory Stick Micro (M2)
  • 400/300 hours stand-by, 10/4 hours talk-time (EDGE/3G), 24 hours MP3 playback, 2 hours video calling
  • Available in Metal Grey or Poetic White with eight interchangeable faceplates
