hbhds_980_c.jpgEver since its launch way back in may the headset has garnered some attention. Sony Ercisson's new DS980 quite easily goes into 'must have' list. It is one headset which definitely makes listening to music and taking calls a quality experience. Designed stylishly it delivers a thump in your ears when listening to the music and at the same time gives a crystal clear voice when you are making and listening to calls. The headset gets Sony's trademark 'in-ear-phone' design and also they've incorporated a Digital noise cancellation/echo reduction technology to reduce background noise.

The Charcoal casing and the hidden OLED display go hand in hand and makes for quite an impressive package. That apart, the AFH(Adaptive Frequency Hopping) reduces the impact of interference between wireless technologies, resulting in excellent audio quality. Another interesting feature is the Automatic volume adjustment, which adjusts volume automatically as soon as you walk into a noisy environment in less than a second. Other features include Auto pairing and Talk/standby/music time of 6/300/6 hours.

No word on the pricing and availability as yet. The caption "coming soon" is still visible in the Sony Ericsson website.
