There are plenty of portable DVD players on the market, but there is always one detail that could be improved which is the battery life. In the case of the Sony DVP-FX950 that detail is above the average, because it provides close to 8 hours of battery life in playing-mode.

In terms of features this portable DVD player from Sony sports a 9-inch screen with a resolution of 800×480 and a LED backlight. Besides DVDs it can also playback MP3 files or JPEG directly from a CD or a USB drive. The Sony DVP-FX950 will become available for purchase on June 2010 for $165.
