SmartQ Launched a New TAO PMP

SmartQ launched a new TAO PMP. I am not crazy about PMPs but I give them enough attention. Too bad they don’t have the required components to use them as a phone.

So without further ado, here are TAO’s features:

  • 3.3 inch LCD 480×320 HVGA
  • multi-codec support for MP3, OGG, WMA, FLAC, APE, AAC, WAV (PCM, ADPCM)
  • 500mhz Blackfin processor
  • 720×480 Xvid and DivX Avi resolution with RMVB
  • support for FLV, WMV, ASF, 3GP, MPEG, DAT, MP4.

The TAO is available in China and a 4GB costs only about $102
