Slovak Telekom and T-Mobile get togetherBy Tony - 10/16/2009 6:50:42 PM |
The land-line operator from Slovakia also known as Slovak Telekom, has joined forces with the popular T-Mobile that operates in the country, also known as T-Mobile Slovensko.
The plan is to merge the 2 companies and react to the market by offering what it requires. While T-Mobile is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Slovak Telekom, the merge is good because it will help the companies to cut costs and share the same resources.
From the President of Slovak:
We are convinced that through integration of the two companies we will form a modern telecommunications operator that will be able to react to all requirements of the market in a more comprehensive and effective way. A final decision has not been made yet on the name of the new company, or on the location of its headquarters.
