iPhone owners can already take advantage of the Slifter application for the iPhone, which is basically a search tool to find + share products, promotions, and hot deals, that can be found in local retailers.

At the moment, the Slifter application has a database with more than 350 million products, and a couple thousand (read 200,000) retail stores on the US. That’s a huge amount of information, don’t you think so? Anyhow, there are other good details promoted by Slifter, like sorting products by distance and integration with Google Maps.
