Looking for some a high speed wireless card but don’t want to opt for Sprint’s new 4G cards? Well then you should keep an eye out for Sierra Wireless’ recently announced Aircard 890. This wireless card works with both PCMCIA and ExpressCard slots and will provide speeds up to 7.2Mbps. For comparison, WiMAx and the 4G network is expected to give speeds of up to 40Mbps per second so AT&T isn’t quite there, but they are on their way.

The card will be available from AT&T on May 5th for $49.99 after a mail-in rebate and 2-year contract good for at least $35 a month.
