The Sidekick is probably the last phone a business executive would turn to when they are picking up a new smartphone. However, a recent press release suggests that the Sidekick is getting a bit more business oriented.

For $5 added onto your monthly T-Mobile subscription you will be looking at real time push email along with Exchange support. Yes, the Sidekick LX ’09 will officially be getting Exchange support thanks to the new Sidekick Sync app.

In addition to Exchange and push email support Sidekick sync will offer you the ability to view attachments and configure sync schedules.
