ShoutOut from Promptu

screen_shoutout01At Pepcom last night, I saw a messaging app that worked pretty well for text-to-speech apps. The demonstration was quite impressive as a man with an Italian accent spoke into his iPhone, and the text was exactly was he said. It is from Promptu, who has promised a Voice Recognition for mobile.

This app, known as ShoutOUT allows the user to speak text messages or update or status on Facebook and Twitter which is a faster way to create and send messages, at lower than the standard rates of mobile operators.
