As more people continue to look for better prices on various commodities and products, Big in Japan releases a new and improved version with the ShopSavvy 1.1 for iPhone. Already known to be one of the most downloaded barcode-scanning apps, users can compare prices and get product reviews from over 20 million products at more than 20,000 retailers worldwide by scanning the product’s barcode using the phone’s built-in camera. The app is free for download and is now available here. It is also available for Android smartphones.
