SanDisk Launches New 8GB Memory Cards

|

sandisk8gb.jpgThe 8GB microSDHC and M2 flash memory cards from SanDisk have been officially released to retailers, world wide. SanDisk, a leader in flash memory technology, has undertaken an educational movement to inform the public on the importance of memory cards to cell phones. According to SanDisk, a memory card has the potential to “turn on” a cell phone and give it the muscle required to proficiently handle the enormous demands placed on it by users. To celebrate the launch, SanDisk teamed up with event organizer Gorilla Union for a party on the Sunset Strip in L.A. Many world renowned artists made the trip including Linkin Park, Common, and Z-Trip. The new cards retail for about $149.99 USD.
