Samsung YP-T10, YP-P2 and YP-S5 Announced

Korean company Samsung entered the International Radio Exhibition with a bang with the announcement of several of their products.

Their first offering is the YP-T10 MP3 Player. It plays music and video, recieves radio programs, plays Java games and can display pictures and images. As an added bonus, the YP-T10 can be used as a voice recorder. It has a bluetooth connection for its headphones where two persons can connect at a time. The YP-T10 supports audio formats such as MP3, WMA, WMV and MPEG4 for video playback. The device weighs at about 43 grams. It measures a slim 7.8 mm and fits well inside pockets and bags.

The next device announced is the YP-P2. The YP-P2 is made possible with a WQVGA resolution and a highly detailed rendition of pictures and films. With its improved sound system, the device guarantees a great sound. Radio programs or individual titles can be noted directly on the equipment. Further it has a calendar, a bell and a text editor. Bluetooth connects the Player with the slack headphones.

Lastly, Samsung gives us their YP-S5 MP3-Player. The new YP-S5 is a slimmer, thinner version of the MP3 player with built in speaker. The new player will come in 2GB, 4GB and 8GB versions, in a range of colours including Midnight Black, Mystic Purple, Maple Red, Lime Yellow and White Cloud. It will feature a 2-inch colour LCD display, offer 30 hours of music and 4 hours of movie from a single charge as well as being Bluetooth 2.0 compatible. The interface has also been given an overhaul. Instead of boring menus users will be presented with a cartoon dog to guide you through the menu choices. It weighs an even lighter 43 grams.

No word on pricing as yet, however Samsung say all of these devices will be available in the UK by the end of the year.
