Here’s a Samsung laptop you might be interested in. It’s a 13.3 inch laptop which brags to be ultraslim, ultralight and ultraportable. Kind of like the Air wouldn’t you say? It weighs an amazing 2.8 pounds and it measures from 0.66 inches to 1.2 inches at the bigger end. Since I care more about what’s inside, let’s take a quick look:

• a Centrino 2 ULV processor
• 1GB of RAM and up to 4GB upgrade available
• 64GB or 128GB SSD, or a 5400RPM 120GB HDD
• X4500 integrated graphics card
• max screen resolution 1280 x 800
• no optical drive
• a 7-in-1 card reader
• three USB ports, PCI ExpressCard/34, HDMI, VGA, LAN and a docking port
• WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR connectivity
• 1.3 megapixel camera
• battery life of 6 to 10 hours

There’s no official release date though and no official pricing. I’m guessing it’s going to be similar but cheaper than the Air… or not!
