Samsung has unveiled a new System-On-Chip which will bring Wireless USB to cellphones, MP3 players and any other devices. The company built a new ARM processor able to deal with ultra-wideband technology, a wired USB interface and a memory controller able to send data via wireless. The speed is impressive too as Samsung says the new processor will be able to transfer a 700MB mobile movie in less than a minute. The processor will offer us speeds of up to 120Mbps which is impressive. And customers are definitely lined-up at Samsung’s doors as production will start in spring. What phones are going to carry the new processor?
