Samsung U620 by Verizon Wireless
The Samsung u620 is the first phone by the company to support Verizon Wireless's new V CAST Mobile TV service which is a mobile entertainment service with some cutting edge features. The new phone by Samsung has been equipped with a two-inch QVGA 240 x 320 pixel LCD screen, a dedicated V CAST Mobile TV key and a retractable V CAST Mobile TV antenna.
The Samsung SCH-u620 also supports services like V CAST Video and Music, Get It Now(R) applications and Mobile Web 2.0. Other than that the phone also includes a 1.3 megapixel digital camera with flash and a camcorder which is capable of Video Messaging-length.
The U620 handset is also Mobile Web 2.0-capable and gives users access to news, sports, weather etc. One also comes across features like; Bluetooth wireless technology profiles for stereo headset , speech recognition with dictation, microSD memory card slot, QVGA display (240 x 320) and MMS supports.
The Samsung SCH-u620 measures 3.76" x 1.86" x .85" and is available in select Verizon Wireless Communications Stores. The company's V CAST Mobile TV is available for $149.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and a new two-year customer agreement.
