29 Apr 09 Samsung Tocco Lite Available in the UK This May
UK customers will be able to choose a new Samsung phone this May. The Tocco Lite is a touchscreen phone which doesn’t have any 3G support. That’s a weird combination but the whole 3G-less feature will make people change their minds about buying one.
Nevertheless the Tocco Lite or the Samsung S5230 will offer you the following:
- Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity
- 3 inch TFT touchscreen display with 262K color and 240 x 400 pixels
- TouchWiz UI
- Accelerometer
- Facebook, MySpace and YouTube widgets
- Bluetooth 2.1
- Samsung DNSe 2.0 music technology
- FM Radio with RDS
- 3.2 MP camera
- 50 MB of built-in memory
- microSD card support, up to 8 GB
- 104 x 53 x 11.9 mm
All we need now are some prices and we expect the Tocco Lite to be available for a great price since it lacks that important 3G support.

I went into the orange shop and on the box it had 3g and edge. The phone has also a 3g symbol on it, so it does connect to 3g! Whether that’s just Orange that lets it, I am not sure, but it definitely had it on the box and the symbol on screen.
hay what is better the lg cookie or this phone i don’t no what one to get
you should get tocco.
lg cookie doesnt have a nice touch to it.

its my b’day soon and im allowed 2 get any fone i want under £100 and ive seen 2 i like, the lg cookie and the tocco lite. i read alot of revews on which is better and i still dont no wat 1 2 get. plz help.

everything seems really good on it only for one thing most people who had the phone have problems calling people!
i dont it only happens to this samsung model as my mom has a samsung and when people call her she always has to call back!
she is on o2 and most of the people who have had theese problems were on o2!

having problems and now experiencing same on replacement phone.. whenever you turn the phone off it deletes the entire content of the text message in box and only receives 1/4 of the text messages sent grrrrrrr

help! I am allowed either the tocco lite or the lg cookie. I have looked at the features on both phones and i like some of the ones on the cookie like the e drawing pad and the handwriting recognition. But i need other peoples opinions please help!
I want to get this phone. My friend had the LG cookie and (he says) its rubbish. The touch screen is almost unresponsive, and as well, Cookies break easily. (they’re called cookies cuz there about as useful a phone as a real cookie is

wifes got lg ive got tocca lite had for 6 months both good little phones had no trouble what so ever also had normal tocca gone wrong twice

i live in the UK and
i wanted a new phone for my birthday (september) by that time the phone was £99 but on the internet at carphone warehouse they was selling it for £75 i was :O (orange etc)
i now i have the tocca lite
im a gadget lover
and i think that the Samsung Tocco Lite it the best!!
all my friends have the LG cookie they said to me it is crap !! because it damages easily and is very sloowww
The Samusung Tocco Lite is the BEST PHONE EVER !!
i have has the LG KS360 in the past and it was ok but was very slow too
i recommend the Tocco Lite to everyone
im only a teenage and it is very useful , on orange it works great
the signal is great and the sound it FANTASITC ( im hearing impaired too so it is really useful if you are hard of hearing)
I may sound like im going over the top but i LOVE IT !!

My Brother lives in UK and he buyed samsung tocco lite for me, i read all the comments above though i cannot predict how this phone will work???Pls advise and the camera is 5 mega pixel or 3.2 mega pixel???
i just got the samsung tocco lite and it is amazing the deal i got was the phone and the new ps3 slim wowwowwowwowwowwowwow it is cool its better than the samsung tocco normal
