Samsung intends to join the tablet craze as rumors have it that they are set to unveil a new tablet this year. Samsung’s marketing manager made the bold announcement, saying that this new tablet will be coming out by the second half of the year.

From the looks of it, Samsung is going to work on improving certain shortcomings of the Apple iPad. This includes the processor used where Samsung may be releasing a tablet with Atom chips. Well, we can just wait and see if Samsung can indeed release something that would appeal to tablet users.
