Samsung Sway going the Verizon wayBy Dax - 10/01/2008 7:31:09 AM |
Verizon has picked up another low-to-mid-range slider from Samsung called the Sway or the U650. With support for CDMA, the Sway will not sway any other cell phone off its feet anytime soon, but if you are looking for something not so flashy on Verizon, this could fit your bill. High points are its slider design, 240×320-pixel QVGA display, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, Mobile Web 2.0, music/video player, and microSDHC support up to 8GB. Samsung seems to have given EV-DO a miss on this silvery low-ender, which could have gained it a few more points over other devices in the same range. Available starting October 6 on Verizon for $119.99 for a two-year agreement or $239.99 without the frills.
