Samsung SCH-r211 joins Cricket’s clubBy Dax - 03/06/2009 6:14:50 AM |
Cricket has announced the availability of Samsung’s new entry-level phone, the SCH-r211, on their network. Similar in form factor and features to Samsung Spex, which already found its way on to Cricket’s lineup last year, this new functional phone will be an ideal match for someone looking for a no-frills phone with basic cell phone functionality. The only connectivity option available is support for Cricket‘s Advanced Wireless Services (AWS), which provides access to ringtones, wallpapers, and other downloadable content from Cricket including Cricket Games and Apps. Other than that, this candybar of course can make/receive calls and send/receive text messages.
The SCH-r211 is available now with a suitable price tag of $90 across all Cricket outlets.
