The last we heard about the Samsung S5050 was in February when the Korean manufacturer decided to do a well-placed leak before MWC 2009.  Looks like Samsung is now ready to release this style booster and given its gorgeous appearance and the pinkish hues, it’s bound to be popular among the ladies.  Features include a 2.2-inch AMOLED QVGA display that can show off up to 262k colors with special wallpapers for various occasions including Christmas, New Year, and of course Valentine’s Day.  There’s a 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash and an FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile, music player, and 40MB of internal memory with a chance to take that up to 8GB via microSD.  Also added in is a special “SOS” feature, which will simulate an incoming call to excuse yourself from an annoying date or a boring meeting.  The inclusion of NetFront 3.5 browser is alright, but the S5050 only supports GSM/EDGE speeds, so you might want to look somewhere else if you are online a lot.

The Samsung S5050 is scheduled to land this summer at $235, but where is still a question we are seeking an answer for.
