Samsung Q1P First Ultra-Mobile PC Optimized for Windows Vista

Samsung announces its newest Q1P Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC) for Windows Vista. This UMPC is a extremely mobile device which provides the power comparable to that of a PC. The Q1P’s Intel Pentium processor runs at a fast speed of 1.0GHz and offers 1GB of memory. With its wireless capabilities you can easily access the internet practically anywhere with either Bluetooth or WiFi connections. Also battery life is extended to an estimated two and a half hours.
Other Features include a large 7” wide LCD touchscreen and a spacious 60 GB hard drive. The touchscreen makes use of a special “inking” feature which allows input of data directly through the touchscreen. With this, handwriting notes can also easily be transferred over to text. Another great feature is the 'AVS Now' feature, which turns this UMPC into a portable media player. The AVS Now allows users to take pleasure in accessing movies, videos, music, and photos without having to boot up the operating system.
With the Q1P, Samsung offers a practical device that can be used and accessed anytime and anywhere, allowing on-the-go users to efficiently and easily get their work complete. This UMPC is now available at a number of retailers at a MSRP of $1,299.
