Verizon Wireless has decided to lower the price for the Samsung Omnia. Is this move a response to the economic crisis or is Verizon getting ready to offer some hot phones to its subscribers?

The Omnia will cost you just $99 if you buy it online. There’s a $70 discount available only online so far. You’ll have to choose a 2-year contract to get that special prices. If you’re more of a 1-year contract person then the Omnia will cost you $169. There’s also the possibility of purchasing the phone without a contract, at $559.
