Samsung New Keypad Patent Spotted

For those who can't decide which they like better -- alphanumeric or QWERTY keypads and for those who need both for various purposes, you might like what Samsung's brewing. A patent has been submitted for a design which lets you interchange your keypads between the QWERTY and the standard alphanumeric. The keypads will be engraved on the battery panel and hence, you'll be changing the battery every time you change keypads. It'll be interesting to see where this design would bring the next generation of mobile phones.
