Taking advantage of the Fashion Week that is due to start tomorrow, Samsung has launched its “fashion phone,” the Corby S3650 today. The handset was brought into the world at a launch event at Studio 90 in East End Studios, among 400 VIPs and probably a lot of flashing cameras. Targeted at the young fashionista, the Corby will be available in vibrant colors of Jamaican Yellow, Minimal White, Cupid Pink, and Festival Orange, although its features are nothing new to write home about. The device sports a 2.8-inch TFT QVGA touchscreen display, a 2-megapixel camera, FM radio with RDS, 50MB of onboard memory with 8GB microSD expansion, and a media player. The Samsung Corby is available in France right now with a release later on in Brazil, China, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, and as the Genio Touch in UK going for a price of $215.
