I am having trouble with my LGGT505 so orange are replacing it with the Samsung jet. I notice a post says it doesn’t read hot mail. Will it read GMail as my son lives in Australia and need to be able to access his mail from my phone . Thank you .

I have the Jet for a whole week now. Bought it here in the Netherlands.
Wi-Fi is good, Bluetooth works fast and pretty. Managed to get AmazeGPS on it (using the version for the Samsung A867 Eternity. Screen looks amazingly sharp and light. Touch it with a finger and also with a little wooden stick (handy!) which leaves no marks.
Down: mailclient does not read html mail, text size for Google Maps is tiiiiiiiiiiny, no setting for minimal text size in browser, the sleeve is a little too tight.
Oh, and they used a new connector so nothing on the market fits. Be warned not to lose your pc cable, which I carry around all day.

But it looks and reacts awesome!

Hi,

We have managed to get our hands on this handset and I have had a play with it and I have been bowled over by it.

The features, usability and interface are second to none. I love the browser and it is extremely fast to use and the camera is 5mp compared to only 3mp on the iphone. The Samsungs fast keys are an excellent feature too where you flick on screen for quick and easy access to six key multimedia features.

All in all a fantastic handset which I recommend to anyone. If you have any questions then just email me and I can tell you more.

I was wondering if the UK model have Wi-Fi? The http://jet.samsungmobile.com/ website doesn’t state anything about this model having it and I emailed Samsung customer services to ask them and I got the reply ‘In response to your email regarding the wi-fi query. We can advise that this handset does not have the option for wi-fi.’ A lot of sites do state that the phone carries Wi-Fi, but none of them are official Samsung sites so I am led to believe different things. Share your view at http://www.SamsungJetForum.com a community for the future jet users when it’s released.

I really like Samsung Jet!! But, many people and my experience tells that samsung mobile Spoils easily and performance goes bad after sometimes…..
