Samsung i780 Phone Spotted

A Samsung Pocket PC phone has just been spotted this week. The device? The Samsung i780 Phone. As seen on the picture, the device seems to have a navigable mouse pointer much like that of your standard PC or laptop. It is controlled by a unique scrolling device beneath the screen. While LG and Apple are going for that new-age touch-screen controls, Samsung is sticking to the old fashioned mouse pointers.

But of course, Samsung won't let this hamper its Pocket PC down. It still has a stylus which you could use if you want to. I bet that the mouse pointer thingy would serve well with situations wherein using a stylus is more of a hassle -- like when using it on the bus or on the train. Now that's good thinking!
