Verizon Wireless is doing everything to grow more and more while it’s aiming for being the number 1 cell phone carrier in the USA. They have recently bought Alltel out in a $28 billion deal and they will not stop there.
In the upcoming months they will roll out new handsets while upgrading network services where needed. Some of the most expected handsets are the Samsung i770 coming this fall and the Palm Treo 800w expected to be released around the same period. There are various other cell phones which will either be released with Verizon Wireless plans either be upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.1.
Network upgrades are to be expected in various states, as it appears Verizon won’t stop when it come to investing into their infrastructure. We should expect Broadband speed upgrades including EV-DO and coverage for more markets in the future.
