For Samsung, it has always been about a good name that people tend to remember better than just a bunch of numbers. But this time, it’s the carrier who seems to be interested in a name than number for Samsung’s first Android device, the i7500. The i7500 is on its maiden voyage to France, with the carrier, Bouygues Telecom, announcing that July will be the lucky month, a few weeks later than the rumored June release date, and will be rechristened as the Samsung Galaxy for the French masses. We are not sure if Samsung will pick the same Galaxy tradename in other regions, but we have to admit, it does have a nice ring to it.
