Samsung i550 at IFA

|

samsung-sgh-i550-gps-symbian-s60-phone-1.jpgThere was no official announcement of Samsung SGH-i550 Symbian based GPS phone yet. But Samsung i550 GPS was prominently displayed at the IFA trade show, along other officially announced phones like Samsung F330 Music or SGH i620 Windows Mobile 6 smartphone.

The i550 has everything a cool 3G phone has to have - 3.2 mpx camera with flash, 3.6 Mbps connectivity, big and bright 2.6? display and, of course, built-in GPS navigation. Samsung SGH i550 is a Symbian OS S60 based smartphone. It has also a very tight Google integration, with Google search box appearing right at the bottom of the front screen.

Another nice feature on Samsung SGH i550 GPS were dedicated keys for direct access to Internet, Music and GPS applications. With the dimensions of 115×53×13.8 Samsung i550 GPS might appear pretty big, but it does not feel that way. Even though it is a bit tall for a Samsung phone, it’s also thin and light which makes this phone quite easy to carry around.

Overall, the Samsung SGH i550 GPS is a pretty good phone and if you have a knack for Samsung or Symbian smartphones, this one has got it all.
