A new handset from Samsung has popped on the scene called the GT-I8000. According to theunwired, the WiFi Alliance had already divulged in February that the Korean company has a smartphone running Windows Mobile 6.1 in the works going by the name of Cubic37/GT-I8000. It is now the turn of Global Certification Forum to add a bit more info on this mysterious WiFi-toting handset, revealing that the device will support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and triband UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA 1800/1900/2100 MHz frequencies along with video telephony and MMS capabilities.
