The Samsung Galaxy Lite i5700, which was earlier rumored to get an October release, has apparently been pushed to a vague 2010 release date.  The reason? Not to overshadow its elder sibling, the Galaxy i7500, which is just getting started on its run across the Europe.  But we do have the skinny on its specs and a few pics of the device that initially caught our attention when it got the okay by the WiFi Alliance.  Here is a list of features that the Galaxy Lite will carry:

  • 3G/HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS support
  • 3.0″ WQVGA TFT touchscreen display
  • 3.2 megapixel camera
  • Android OS 1.5 with Chrome Lite browser, Google Apps and Android Market, and Touchwiz UI
  • Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 support, and WiFi
  • Accelerometer
  • 3.5mm audio jack
  • Memory 200MB internal and MicroSD card (up to 32GB)
  • GPS
  • MP3 and MPEG4 player

The i5700 will be available in black/orange and white/green colors.  Hit the read link for another picture.
