Samsung Electronics premiered its F268 Beijing Olympic phone in the China market during CHITEC 2008. The F268 features GSM Triband (900/1800/1900MHz), GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) and 2.0 WAP browser. It is Bluetooth 2.0 compatible.

It bears a 2.1” 240X320 pixels 262144 colours QVGA TFT LCD display screen. The F268 is equipped with a 2M resolution CMOS digital camera with video recorder/playback and digital zoom function.

For entertainment buffs there is an in built MP3/MPEG4/3GP/AAC/WMA player and FM radio. You can turn on the speakerphone to make your friends listen to what you are listening. With the MicroSD/TransFlash card expansion slot, you get enhanced storage options. Price and availability is not known yet. Those who are in China can see the model put on demo at the CHITEC 2008.
