Samsung continues its commitment towards producing eco-friendly devices for the consumer market. Now it offers an eco-friendly hard drive with the release of the EcoGreen F3EG HDD. This latest Samsung HDD boasts of a 2TB capacity which should be enough to hold 500,000 MP3s or about 880 hours of DVD videos.

On the eco-friendly side, it consumes lower power, low-noise and has no hazardous chemicals used in production. It makes use of 3Gbps SATA interface and carries an MSRP of $179.99
