Samsung D910 Coming Soon?

|

u600_d900_samsung.pngSpeculation is running rife over at Mobile-review forums that samsung maybe releasing a updated version of the Samsung D900, ie the Samsung D910.

The D900 offered the latest in multimedia technology to consumers at the time. It’s features included a 3.13MP camera, document viewer, TV-output function, Bluetooth connectivity, expandable microSD memory, etc. Samsung’s SGH-D900 slim slider phone has been on the market for quite awhile and there have been some that are wondering about a successor.

Not too long ago, Samsung did preview an updated D900 with the revealing of the Samsung Ultra 10.9 SGH-U600 mobile phone this year. Samsung shaved off another 2mm off the phone making the 10.9mm U600 one of the world’s thinnest slider phones. The phone supports quad-band GSM, GPRS, and EDGE networks. Features of the successor U600 did not really change much from the D900. Samsung's U600 includes features such as a 2.2" display, 3.2MP camera, expandable microSD, 60MB internal memory, multimedia player (playback of MP3, AAC, and WMA files), a web browser, email client, and many other features included with the D900, etc. Samsung’s elegant SGH-U600 turned out to be a wonderful replacement for the older D900 slider.
