We’ll consider this a rumor until Samsung decides to come out of the closet, but it’s hard to believe Samsung would be hasty enough to release another 8-megapixel cell phone when the first one, Innov8, is yet to be released completely. Supposedly, the Samsung Bresson M8800 will have a 3.2-inch 16-million color touchscreen display and this entry over at phones4u hints at GPS, “high-speed downloads” which could be dumbed down English for HSDPA, and a lithe body of just 15.5mm thickness. The codename “Bresson” is taken from French photographer, Henri Cartier-Bresson, a fitting title considering its 8 megapixel lens. We have nothing else to go on other than these details and there isn’t even a picture to show what it might look like. But now that the rumor has started, we don’t think we will have to wait long to know more.
