Samsung Atom-based Mini-Notebook to hit shelves in October

The Intel Atom is a low-power x86 CPU with the aim of delivering substantial performance. It is what is found in the Asus EeePC and other mini notebook PCs. Now, Samsung is looking to launch its own Atom-based mini laptop, and this goes one level up by integrating WiBro support.

While detailed specs are not available at press time, it is slated for an end-of-October release in Korea and other markets. No word on the pricing.
