LTE represents the near future of mobile telecommunications and everyone in the business is probably working on their own LTE-ready gadgets. But it’s Samsung the manufacturer that we’re going to talk about today. The company says it has the first commercial LTE modem for cell phones ready.
The modem, dubbed as the Kalmia for now, will get you download speeds of up to 100Mbps and upload speeds of 50Mbps within the 20MHz frequency band. Now we have to wait for Samsung to unveil its first phone ready to use this Kalmia LTE modem.
