Samsung Announces C3060R for the ElderlyBy Chris - 05/13/2009 11:27:48 AM |

I don’t need one now but in 50 years I will surely have some sort of phone made for the elderly implanted in some part of my body. But if your going to get one now for your grandparents, you should definitely consider Samsung‘s latest handset, the C3060R, specifically designed for the elderly.
The C3060R is a candybar phone which features an illuminated keypad, large rubber keys, a 2.2-inch TFT display and a special Samsung OS which comes with simpler menus and larger fonts. Other significant specs include an SOS key, FM radio and a 1.3 megapixel camera. The phone will be available in June and it will cost around $190 in Russia. It will probably be launched in other markets too but you’ll have to wait a while for it.
